Central Baptist Church, located in Church Road, Dinwiddie County, VA, had its beginning nearly two centuries ago, several miles from its present location.

Our Ministry Team
PASTOR
GREG KITTS
Rev. Gregory Kitts began serving as Central Baptist’s pastor in August 2025. With over 35 years of ministry experience, he began his pastoral work in 1992 and has faithfully served in various churches and communities since that time.
He and his wife, Suzanne, share a deep love for the local church and are both actively involved in ministry. Together, they have a heart for serving others, building relationships, and sharing the hope of Christ.
Rev. Kitts looks forward to leading and walking alongside the congregation at Central Baptist as we continue to grow in faith and reach our community for the Lord.
He is excited to call Central home and welcomes everyone to join in worship, fellowship, and service.

JOSEPH SEDIVY
Joseph has served as a dedicated believer and faithful servant of the local church for more than 30 years, actively involved in multiple ministries. Throughout this time, Joseph has demonstrated a heart and skill set focused on Gospel advancement and the building up of the church.
With many years of worship leadership experience, Joseph is known as a compassionate leader with a strong grasp of God’s Word and a God-given ability to communicate His truth through music, teaching, and Bible exposition. An avid church musician, Joseph carries a deep passion for worship ministry and musical excellence in the local church.
He looks forward to serving alongside the congregation at Central Baptist, leading others in meaningful worship and walking together as we continue to grow in faith and reach our community for Christ.
